Front gutter partly split will need mending, otherwise Very Good condition, very light use and wear. Cover photo art is bright. No writing, dogear, or damp. Approx 8.5 x 6". Pages are undamaged, no scribble, fold, or damp. Each page, and title page and both covers, are illustrated with photos of actual needlework illustrating the capital letters of the alphabet; A is an appliqued red apple cut open with seeds, stem and a leaf, letter A is embroidered. M is an embroidered mouse nibbling a yarn noodle from the next page. All are very cleverly done and book would be valuable just for the artwork to use as patterns for needlework - but also enchanting to read with a small child.
